Waldameer & Water World is soaring into the future with the announcement of Eagle’s Pursuit, an all-new family launch coaster scheduled to open for the 2027 season.

Inspired by the power and grace of an eagle in flight, Eagle’s Pursuit will send riders soaring through Waldameer’s lakefront hillside like a majestic eagle gliding over hills and trees. Designed to blend speed, airtime, and the park’s natural terrain, the new attraction features two dynamic launches, sweeping turns, unexpected drops, and rapid directional changes that create the sensation of flying.

Built directly into the hillside terrain, Eagle’s Pursuit delivers a dynamic ride experience that continuously builds momentum as trains launch out of the station to dive into the valley below before launching again, mid-ride, racing back uphill for a fast-paced finale packed with weightless airtime moments and near-ground maneuvers. With 16 unique track elements, 18 direction changes, and 10 floater airtime moments, the coaster is designed to be thrilling, action-packed, and accessible for families and thrill-seekers alike.

With a minimum height of only 38”,  Eagle’s Pursuit will be one of the most accessible thrill coasters in the region.

Construction on Eagle’s Pursuit is already underway, and guests will get to experience the new coaster in 2027.
